All my life I've found that I get a thrill out of learning new things. I've done crossstitch, fabric painting, some oil painting, and rock painting.  Whatever hobbies I pick up, I am always passionate about them and usually go all in.

Quilting was something I always wanted to try, so when I finally did in 2007, the obsession began. I am basically self taught and have made over 190 quilts. Most have gone to others as gifts and charities. My "Remembrance Quilt Ministry," is where I make survivors quilts from their loved ones shirts/clothes.  One of my firsts was a quilt from the scrubs of a much loved twin sister who passed away.  I made one for a widow who lost her beloved husband after 73 years together, one for the parents of a baby who died from SIDS, and one for the parents of a young man who committed suicide.  I feel led to use the talents I've been blessed with to bring comfort to those who have lost loved ones. In 2015 I had my first quilt published, and several more since. Now I am enjoying using EQ8 to design my own quilts.

I also enjoy running, paddle boarding, cooking, photography, DIY, research, and my newest hobby, woodworking/chalk painting. Needless to say I have more hobbies than time.

I am semi-retired from the nuclear security field and married to a fisherman-retired investment planner. We live in a little town in Tennessee. My greatest accomplishment is being a mother.  I have a grown son and beautiful daughter-in-law, and two precious grand children.

I've been blessed tremendously in my life despite my mistakes. I have a strong faith in God and believe Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the life." A sinner saved by grace - that's me.
