Hi friends. I hope all of you are enjoying this holiday. Below is my favorite patriotic quilt. I made it from a block of the month program from The Cherry Pit quilt shop in Sevierville, TN.
It was one of my early quilts.
I also wanted to share one of our favorite recipes. This cake is a great summer time dessert.
Swiss Chocolate cake mix
Small box of French vanilla instant pudding mix
2/3 cup of oil
1 1/2 cups of milk
Mix above ingredients together, bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and mash down with a spatula and let cool.
4 ounce cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup sugar
8 ounces Cool Whip
Mix and spread on cake; garnish with chocolate shavings and/or toasted pecans. Keep refrigerated.
